News Flash: Unexpected Act Of Kindness
Children at Sprinkles orphanage in Amazizi were experiencing problems in the understanding of English when doing their homework. George and Gertrud Rotter from Austria noticed this and spoke to Daphne and me about the problem. Daphne sent out a request to the community for someone who could help the children with their English.
We were very lucky to find Thembelihle Miya who has been assisting them with their English this year and sometimes their homework.
Can you imagine our delight when Thembelihle brought in a very generous donation of stationery for all 24 children which was collected in Durban by her sister, Spindile Ngiba, and friends.
As you can see by the pictures each child was thrilled to receive their very own stationery pack including a dictionary.
What a wonderful act of kindness. This helps to restore your faith in people when there are so many bad news stories in our beautiful country.
Keep warm,
Dave and Daphne.
